The typical Costa Rican dish casado Is unbeatable in size, nutritional value, cost. BK is fast food no matter what. The only time is worthwhile going there is when they have some sort of limited time offer where if you pay with x credit card you get 40% discount in your purchase. Burger patties will always beat McDonald 's, but not their fries. Pepsi at BK, Coke at McDonald 's. Both fast food joints have made it their point to have this sort of spacious Cafe setting and that 's so much better than the old, plastic furniture, kid 's playground/birthday party setting. Kids screaming no more running past you almost crashing against one 's table. No more. Yes. Clean restroom, quick service, lid and biodegradable straw upon request. Real lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, bacon. New hefty burger patties to compete against Carl 's Jr. They say BK charbroiled burgers, but don 't know where inside their kitchen the charbroiling goes on. Anyway, it 's good to have them back after closing down for license issues several years back. BK will always top Mc Donald 's any day, but not the Florence and Central burger in LA.
