The Beer House - Glasgow City

While waiting for my train, I ordered a Jack Daniels and coke at the restaurant. The staff seemed uninterested in the customers and the toilets were in such a state that I wished I had brought my wellington boots.

I didn't even want to come here for breakfast, but decided to because it was convenient in the train station. I ordered a full breakfast and added toast and butter, which the server said was not included. I also got a coke, a latte, and some avocado, which totaled 20 pounds. The food arrived cold and unappetizing, so I only ate a little bit before giving up. The toast and butter cost 2.29 pounds, but I only received plain toast. I felt like I wasted 20 pounds on this disappointing meal. No one came to check on the food or offer to fix any issues. I was very unsatisfied with the experience.

After a long train journey, I ordered two pints at the restaurant, only to find out that the keg had run out and needed to be changed. The bartender offered me a half pint instead of a full one, but I was too tired to argue. I ended up leaving the establishment feeling dissatisfied. I'm sure there are many other bars in the area that offer full drinks and better service.

Overall excellent experience, the employees were very helpful when asked for recommendations. the price where a little expensive, but understandable for a stationary bar. the selection of the food was very delicious.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The service was quick and efficient. This is a great wee pub to meet people in town and have a few drinks before going out.
