Miners Village Restaurant - Glace Bay

We dined there last evening. Halibut dinners, food done to perfection! Just like home. Our waitress was Mary, she went beyond for us. Friendly and very helpful. Their menu has something for everyone’s taste. Call ahead and make a reservation, you won’t be sorry,

The restaurant is very close to the miners museum so we stopped there for lunch after visiting. The location was very convenient, but the food was nothing special.

We made reservations here to fill the time between our museum visit and the Men of the Deeps concert. The food was really great better than we expected and the service was excellent as well.

This restaurant is very authentic with high-quality food, although I would prefer butter on their delicious biscuits instead of margarine. The seafood selection is exceptional and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

I was looking for somewhere to eat in Glace Bay and followed my nose through the streets until I came across a restaurant that wasn't McDonald's or Tim Hortons. I had forgotten about this place until I saw a street sign and googled it to find my way there. Google had the wrong opening time, so I sent in a correction (which should be updated). The menu was impressive, the staff were friendly and efficient, but also professional. I enjoyed a delicious burger and fries for lunch. It had a more formal atmosphere than I usually prefer, but it was still good. I think it was so busy because many other places are closed due to COVID-19.
