We had dinner once and the food was surprisingly good! We stayed for 2 nights, we really liked our room and we loooved the breakfast! We enjoyed our stay and we recommend this place but keep in mind that there is not much to do around. Rooms: 5 Service: 4 Location: 3 Hotel highlights: Quiet

We spent 2 nights at the Black Bull Hotel. The room we had (at the very top) is very pleasant with a very large and good bed. The rooms have been renovated and are well decorated. The bar is very nice and the dinner in the restaurant very good too; We took the salmon which was perfectly cooked. For an extra salad and veggies with no added butter and sauces, it makes for a healthy meal, which is hard to get in the area. The dining room is vintage as desired. Only point of disappointment, the breakfast which is quite disappointing.

Probably the nicest fish chips I’ve ever had in a pub! So pleased I called by, the ale was great and the staff so warm friendly. Food drinks: Amazing battered fish French fries with fresh, crispy side salad. Absolutely perfect! Service: 5 Location: 5
