Had a gorgeous meal here on our trip to Port of Monteith. Searched across the area and came across this gem. The food did not disappoint, exactly what I was hoping for. Plenty of choice on the menu. I chose the duck and it was cooked perfectly. Probably one of the best meals I've had out at a pub. Would recommend a lot. Service: 5 Location: 5

The owners are a lovely couple, so kind and welcoming. It feels like an old charming Inn in the country where you can meet and chat with locals. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5

Sunday lunch today with our family, 6 adults and one infant. Fantastic service with great attention to detail. Food was prompt and high quality. Delicious roast beef with all the trimmings. We were all delighted with our deserts. Chef took the time to come out and check in on everyone’s meal which was a nice touch. We’ve been in the area for 20 years plus and delighted to know there is a good local pub on our doorstep. Service: 5
