Port Of Galveston, Tx

We drive several times from Galveston, the terminal must be updated, but the overall experience is good, they move relatively fast. I recommend the covered parking lot above the terminal.

They were very quick about getting us on and off the ship. We sailed on the Carnival Breeze. Really easy to catch Uber and Lyft.

I recently booked a cruise on the Disney Wonder, and it was an incredible experience. I recommend purchasing your parking in the Express Lot ahead of time, as it is the closest option to the terminal. The terminal follows COVID-19 safety measures, including testing at the port on the day of your cruise. Once aboard, social distancing protocols are in place. Adults are required to wear masks at all times, except when eating or on the upper outer decks 9 and 10. Pools have capacity limits, dining tables are spaced apart, hand sanitizers are readily available, and the ship is not at full capacity. The staff cleans your room multiple times a day, and if you book an excursion in Cozumel, your guide will also wear a mask. Overall, we had a wonderful cruise experience even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
