I was really impressed with Mr. Taco until the end of our dining experience. Other than the queso that reminded us of nacho cheese, all of our food was really good. Our servers were great and our food came out in a timely manner. However, the tickets were an issue. We were all paying separately and one of us ended up with three charges on her card, which wasn’t that big of a deal because we figured it all out on our own. But the restaurant charged 8 extra dollars on my card after I filled out the whole receipt. I’m not sure if someone changed my receipt to tip themselves or what but I’m pretty upset about it. I tried to call the restaurant but they don’t answer. Very frustrating.

They actually have a pretty big vegan selection (they haven't updated the website yet, so it doesn't show in their online menu). The vegan quesadillas are absolutely amazing. My partner and I have come here four times over the three days we've stayed in Galveston. They are also planning on expanding the menu so keep an eye out! I'd give them 5 stars if I could.

The food was DELICIOUS! there was three of us and all three of our meals were great! Tasted fresh and authentic. The staff were very friendly and the place was so clean. The service was slow so I took off a star but it was definitely worth the wait! It's so cute inside too and I saw that they have a full bar and hookah.
