Altdorf Biergarten - Fredericksburg

Warm service and delicious sausages and beer gave us a beautiful memory of our first meal here. I recommend Fries and Spatzle for side dishes. The Alt beer was pretty good as well.

We came here for lunch and there was no wait (on a Saturday). Indoor and outdoor seating available. It’s very nice, and everything is new. Our waitress was very friendly. The sausage sampler was good. The different sausages were about as expected.The kraut was solid, and the fries were crispy. The German hot dog was really good. Better quality sausage than the samplerplate. I would consider this a solid place to get German food.

Food was cold and very bland or super salty. Just not my kind of place!!

We've been there twice. We loved it! We'll be back!
