Valente's Fish Chip - Fife

Amazing fish and chip shop! The service in the shop could use some improvement as it can be intimidating to stand and wait for your food while being stared at by the 5 counter girls. However, their delivery service is excellent - quick and always delivering hot food. The food itself is fantastic, with my personal favorite being their king rib supper.

This is the best fish and chip shop in Kirkcaldy by a long shot. The portions are generous and the food is high quality.

Great fish and chips... Tried something different suggested by the bloke taking my order and added a battered smoked sausage to share with my partner and it was really good! Nothing like this in the States.

The customer service at this restaurant is absolutely terrible. We were told our food would arrive in 45 minutes, but ended up waiting 1.5 hours and it still hadn't arrived. When we called to inquire, we were told they were just getting it ready. When the food finally did arrive, part of our order was missing. The food quality is decent, but the long wait times and rude staff make it not worth it. We do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

A nice family run business. Very friendly staff. Everything is made too order. Fresh products and some Scottish sourced products. They also make and sell traditional Italian ice-cream.
