The gals working there are outstanding, the absolute best Verda, Sheila, Mary Assumpta. They’re high spirted fun. Sheila has a beautiful voice. If she’s in the mood, she may sing for you. Don’t miss stopping here!!

Nice cozy place, food is delicious and service is great, we tried the seafood chowder, seafood platter and fish and chips and everything was fresh and tastyit's a family business and you can feel it once you step a foot in, we had a chance to chat with Mr. Kavanagh when we were there.the view is incredible, really nice spot to stop by for lunch or dinner.as it's written on the menu, delicious food with family prices

Visited Ferryland today and came across this gem of a restaurant. It is located on the edge of the ocean with the most spectacular views. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Will definitely be back....loved it.

We went to this restaurant near the beginning of a 2 week tour of Newfoundland. We were 8 related adults from 6 households, so lots of room for differences of opinions! Our experience at this restaurant set the tone for the rest of our trip. The food was fine; the fried cod was superb. It was the staff at the restaurant that pleased us to no end. Our waitress, Sheila (sp? , demonstrated how to poor water sideways from a pitcher without spilling a drop and managed to spill quite a bit of that water on the table nonetheless. She laughed heartily at herself and we joined in. Mary and the cook, Verna, joined us in conversation and we took pictures of ourselves with them. They were as interested in us as we were of them. And if that wasn't enough, Sheila (who I think said she is 76 years old sang a Newfoundland sea shanty to us. Her voice was absolutely beautiful. Verna mentioned that Sheila sings at concerts in the area. All three women were so incredibly nice. Go to this restaurant when you are hungry for a friendly people experience.....and try the fried cod while you are at it!
