Benki Donki Japanese Cuisine - Evanston

If you're in a rush, really want sushi and just happen to be walking past this place, I'd walk an extra 15 steps and go to the subway next door. I can only speak for the sushi but it tasted pretty old and wasn't very nice even though I was there mid day. I hate to be that guy to leave a bad review, but I was kinda disappointed. I'm sure the rest of the menu is good!

I had the tokoyaki and the chasyu pork ramen. Very very good. Tokoyaki was super tasty. Ramen was awesome broth was light but super tasty chasyu was tender and flavoursome, could have been a little more of it but still good. Would deffinetly recommend.

The new chicken katsu with curry was so good for winter. Highly recommended
