Bidra med feedbackLovely and lively place to be. Before you walk in, you are greeted with a little library and cute cafe outdoor patio seating along with LA street art. As you enter, aromas of coffee welcome you in addition to fantastic staff celebrating the 10th year anniversary of this cafe. Lots of yummy pastries on display along with beautiful green houseplants and other locally hand made LA artworks such as coffee/tea mugs, potions, greetings cards, face masks, and more for sale. Horchata iced latte with oatmilk 50% sugar was delicious. Above all, I enjoyed the backyard outdoor patio with a lucious flowing stone ceramic fountain, plenty of greenery plants, pothos, and cactus along with other relics on display. Lots of space outdoors to enjoy coffee/tea/goodies! Thank you!
Thank you Joseph for the excellent customer service. I went in asking for a recommendation and he ended up recommending the chai. Great choice! It needed just a little bit more chai and he was happy to do it for me. I appreciate it
First time here and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is very comfortable and homey--they carry many local vendor items for sale which I thought was nice and gave a big sense of community. They even had a small community library outside their building take a book today, donate one tomorrow . Their outside patio was great, dog friendly and they even have a water bowl for your puppy. I got the cafe de olla with oat milk and coffee bread, both options were mouth watering! They also have a rewards program, I believe it was after your 8th purchase you receive a free one. Overall, very happy and I do highly recommend!
This is my neighborhood coffee shop and I love it. Sit inside or outside and you feel like you are in a zen garden. A lot more on the menu than just drinks and there is a full menu for lunch, it's amazing. But let's talk about the coffee ;
I felt the need to make a visit to Holy Grounds since it was a Sunday! : I've been wanting to try this place for some time and I really wanted to like this place... However, this place left me feeling like my coffee was missing flavor and caffeine. I left thinking I needed another coffee and that's not a good thing since I added an extra shot... ouch! The 3 stars is just for the ambiance. I love coffee and I don't know if it's what I ordered but I wasn't a fan... It was a HOT Sunday afternoon so I decided to get an ice blended horchata latte with an extra shot. However, the blended drink did not taste of an horchata latte or seemed as though there was an extra shot. After looking at my friends drink, I wished I had just got it iced. Mine tasted like watered down coffee and I would not recommend it. On the flip side, this coffee shop is really adorable. The decor is a mixture of Spanish influences along with local artists. They also seem to have a private area that they rent out. Overall, I would come back just to try something else...
