Posada El Quijote - Escazu

We were here (jan of 22 the rooms are very simple, but the staff was very helpful. the view and the grounds were beautiful. I can't say enough about how helpful, friendly and personal was. if you want to explore real costa rica, eat the real local cuisine, and see the real local living I highly recommend staying here. even if they have to relax and have a coffee in the early morning or a cocktail in the late evening with a more fantastic view, this is the place.

Excellent hotel and staff, amazing healthy breakfast, beautiful views of San Jose. I've stayed in several hotels Costa Rica and this is the best one. Highly recommended!

4.8 stars, nearly perfect rating. The rooms are spacious but do not have a safe, and the TV is not properly aligned. However, everything else about this restaurant is wonderful, especially the atmosphere and intentional design.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is excellent, with clean and comfortable rooms. I appreciate that some rooms even have a small kitchen and beautiful old features. The decorations are tasteful and the rooms feel spacious and homely. The breakfast is delicious and the view is wonderful.

We only stayed for one night, but we had a great experience at this restaurant. The beer was very nice, the house-made breakfast was delicious, and the garden and view were wonderful. The traditional apartment was cozy and spacious, although not modern. It had a fridge, water cooker, and microwave oven. As pet-friendly people, we enjoyed seeing the roaming cats and even spotted a dog nearby.
