This is the best place we have ever eaten seafood on the street!!! The food was phenomenal!!!! The waitress, do not have the words to say how brilliant she was!! Her name was Tina and I hope she sees this and knows how much she helps us to make decisions!! We will definitely be back when we are in the area!!
That was my first visit. The shares are somewhat smaller than expected to fill. I recommend an appetizer to compensate for the smaller portions if you are really hungry. The prices are excellent. The service was stellar. Our server was Clarissa. She was very nice, attentive and offered recommendations. You have outdoor seating if you are interested. I had the garlic parmesan oysters. They were tasteful and juicy. My husband doesn't eat seafood, so they have chickens on the menu, and he enjoyed his meal. Let's talk about the green beans! Excellent. Next time I will get the grilled shrimps and scalopps with a double part of the green beans.
Do not let the parking spaces or the line deter you! Food and service is great! We arrived before 5:00. We almost turned around to go elsewhere, because a number of vehicles were already waiting for the parking lot. We decided to take our chances and see what the waiting was. People came with an equal sentence. We immediately found suitable parking spaces. It is snowbird season and we understood that it was a bit waiting and was in service. They had outdoor seating, bar seating and indoor seating. We chose interior seats. You have a separate check-in stand for the field service. We sat within 20 minutes. Our appetizer was fried half the order of Southern (Hühner-Fritten oysters. They tasted a little like chickens. Next time, I'll order oysters on the shell. Our waiter was quick and attentive. She didn't miss a beat. Very friendly and accommodating. Mixed drinks are half the price of restaurants on the beach and they tasted pretty good. We both had the special on the day that was half lobster filled w/breaded deep fried shrimps and two sides. Lobster was very small, but suitable for the price and quantity of food as a whole. Coleslaw was good. I ordered potatoes that were only regularly small steamed whole red potatoes I did not eat. I was full when I came to them. We didn't take any left home. My husband finished what was left of my shrimps. Portion size was average and not much for residues. I don't eat much, so it was good for me. I would recommend ordering a whole size lobster or one of the larger meals that is not in the nightly specialties if you eat large portions in one session. You can't be annoyed with portions of size if you order a special menu every day in each restaurant. They were well affected. This means that they pay well, tip well, have decent benefits, or the owners are excellent and treat their employees accordingly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to someone looking for a job in the area. They seem to have a system in place where several people help put the plates and deliver them to their guests. It seems to be a very efficient process, like a fast food service. (Foods don't taste fast food. We were in less than an hour and out. We didn't use the equipment. The restaurant seemed clean and well maintained. You could probably bring a group of 6-8 people and have no problem getting a table together in a reasonable amount of time. Many rooms in their outdoor seating for those who prefer open air spaces. (No vax/pcr checkpoints in this area of FL.
AMOB's are one of our favorite seafood places. Food is always exceptional. The calamari is best on the planet. Cortez has best service. Ellenton needs to step up the service a notch.
