Tatsu Ramen House - Elgin

Always a great fresh bowl of ramen. Fantastic serving size too. I never feel short changed on a bowl. The speed of service can suffer when they get busy but that's because they stay busy with the great food they offer. My favorite lunch spot when I get a chance to stop by.

The best ramen in the area. The service and atmosphere doesn’t disappoint.

What a delightful place. I ordered the 豚丼 Butadon rice bowl it was delicious! Topped with green onion pickles ginger was perfect.I had a very citrusy soda called yuzu and it tasted almost like a grapefruit lime mix! Was delicious too.

Always delicious. Spicy miso and the bao buns are my favorite ??

We have dined at this establishment many times, was always very good, but unfortunately this last time, the takoyaki was the small and frozen version often served at other togo counter restaurants when it was always made fresh. Also, the spicy miso ramen broth was bland with no hint of miso. Very watered down. The pork with green onion appetizer was served barely warm. The chashu fried rice was hot and flavorful, the only thing done reasonably well. Hopefully, the food will be better next time. Would be a shame if this restaurant lost its magic.
