Bidra med feedbackIf you want a no fuss delicious dinner, go to Hacienda. I never noticed it before even if I frequented the area below it but it was a genuinely simple as it gets. Yummy food for an affordable price.
This restaurant is a great option for dining with family and friends. I frequent this place with my friends for a satisfying and budget-friendly meal. Hacienda ni Senior Pedro is a branch of the Sr. Pedro Lechon Manok franchise, but this particular location offers a Spanish-inspired dining experience. The menu is not extensive, but the signature Sr. Pedro taste is evident in their lechon manok (whole: 195 Php) and liempo. The service is also excellent. If you are watching your diet, it is recommended to order only one serving of rice (25php) and share it with a partner as the portions are generous. *Photos are sourced from their Facebook page*
This restaurant is a real standout when it comes to delicious chicken, but it falls short in terms of vegetable options. The plain white rice is not up to par. It is recommended to take a whole lechon manok home instead of enduring the smoke, cheap furniture, and loud music that hinders conversation. The owner should consider adding quality vegetable dishes to enhance the dining experience and elevate the ambiance. Once the new construction is completed, this restaurant should expand to all locations and easily surpass competitors like Food-Net and Chicken Inasal in terms of food quality.
Situated next to Quezon Park, this restaurant is known for its delicious roasted chicken. The chicken is incredibly juicy, with the juices dripping as it is grilled to perfection. Customers can choose to dine in or take their food to go. A whole chicken is priced at around 175php. They also offer grilled pork belly. If I were to buy roasted chicken in Dumaguete, this would be my top pick.
Not unlike Andoks in Manila, Sr. Pedro's is the best lechon manok restaurant in the Dumaguete area. The flavor provided by banana and pandan leaves inside their chicken is quite novel, and for half a chicken and rice, it's only 100 pesos. For sure the best value in town: Jo's, City Burger, and all the other chicken bbq places can't beat it! Worth a visit.
