Captain Ribbers - Dumaguete City

We ordered baby back ribs and the ribs were easily the worst ribs I have ever had. 1. The ribs were not a rack as you would expect, rather individual pieces. 2. Very fatty and not tasting smoked. 3. The sauce was watery, and the flavor was not good. Server was very nice, but I want good food too! Price was not that cheap!

I was hesitant about this place. I was rooting Kri one of the top places to eat here for dinner after a long day. My colleague insisted. After seeing the price for the ribs; I said that aint good. For a price like that, they couldnt possibly make good ribs as they claim (best ribs in town). BUT they do! And the rest, is eatstory.

My first night in Dumaguete was spent dining at this restaurant. We ordered the platter which included baby back ribs, buffalo wings, liempo, and beef kabab. The meal was delicious, flavorful, and best of all, affordable!

We went out for a later dinner and tried this restaurant. Ordered their sampler platter. Chicken wings, baby back ribs, grilled liempo and beef kebab. It was good. Price is php 560 and it was ok for 3 persons. We also ordered pancit canton. Good thing they were open till late night as we enjoyed our dinner here. Servers are all super friendly and accommodating.

The best budget-friendly steak after a tiring day!... Very nice place. They have other delicious meals too... but the steak was just perfection...
