Cafe Metro - Denville

For 20 years not here. I do not remember that they have as many vegan options as they were now so happy to see so many decisions. we had the tofu plant stir fry that was simple but amazingly delicious and my man had a pizza that was excellent. even my non-vegan friend had the Tofu peace and she could not stop saying how delicious it was. we also had a very good hummus plate with slightly grilled pita and fresh Cudité vegetables. and the vegan carrot cake is one must, one of the best we had. not too sweet, very humid, right. the caffe is located in a historic house, so it has this cozy feeling with some separate rooms and skylights over.

This place is the sweetest little caffe and offers nutritious vegan meals. I love how to use local food and present local art in their restaurant.

We were so pleased with the vegan selections at this restaurant. The handmade edamame dumplings appetizer was so special. Each of the two of us had different vegan dinner entrees that were well done, especially for an otherwise non-vegan establishment. This is a restaurant that would be a shining example of what vegans would appreciate more restaurants doing. If you are a vegan for allergen considerations, you should be careful here.
