Flamingo Ice Cream - DeKalb

I enjoy the fresh food at this restaurant, but I am disappointed that they only received 2 stars. It seems that non-white customers are not given chips and salsa, which is unfair treatment. I will not be coming back here again. I noticed that the two tables with American customers (nothing against anyone) were served chips and salsa, while the three tables with Mexican customers did not receive any. This inconsistency is concerning.

I tried this restaurant for the first time after driving past it for 25 years. It's on my way home from Jewel and we don't eat out often. It was really good! Thank you.

The BEST taco salad and my husband loves their giant steak burrito! Delicious and great service! The guacamole is so yum! Mouth is watering just thinking about it!

I really enjoy the flavors at this Mexican restaurant - it's widely considered the best in DeKalb. The generous portion sizes are a great bonus, offering both great taste and quantity. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of ice cream options available as well. The staff here are very friendly and courteous. I will definitely be returning to dine here again.

Was recommended to try this place out for great Mexican food, and I met a colleague for lunch. My one and only, only recommendation is to make it clearer that the taco menu is per taco, meaning if you want more than one, you need to be specificand state how many you want. Now, I ordered their signature Flamingo burrito. Not the biggest I?ve ever seen, but it is a reallygood size. As I dove in, I quickly found it was probably the most flavorful burrito I?ve eaten. The peppers, onions, grilledchicken, and CHEESE?yes CHEESE made for a perfect combination. Love every, single bite. This place is off the beaten path inDekalb, but, I assure you, it?s worth it! I can?t speak for the ice cream, but I?ll be back to give that a whirl!
