Zig's At Ruttger's - Deerwood

The review says that Zig's is located in the Crosslake neighborhood, but it is actually miles south of Deerwood, MN. It is a great spot to unwind and enjoy the peaceful views of Bass Lake and Jack's golf course. The food is fresh and tasty, with my personal favorite being the club sandwich made with smoked turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, and tomato, topped with cranberry chutney. The sandwich is served on whole wheat bread, but gluten-free options are available. My wife loves the Honey Pecan Chicken Salad, featuring grilled chicken, honey-roasted pecans, blue cheese, dried cranberries, and diced tomatoes tossed in a honey lime vinaigrette. Sometimes she indulges in the decadent Bette Lemae chocolate slice from the dessert menu. Zig's is a wonderful place to gather with loved ones.
