Bridge Tavern - Crosby

We consider this place to be like a home away from home. Have been going there for some time.

Food was good and service was ok...got a burger and it was cooked well and had taste but the place had a lot of bugs and was dirty especially around the windows where we were seated. There was a larger room in the back that looked great for weekend DJ's.

My dog and I were immediately greeted at the entrance. After the dog was given much love we were told to pick a seat and he would be right out with some water for the dog. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. The staff were friendly, fast, and helpful. It was a real nice place to stop and sit outside with my dog and my company.

Just down from the bridge over the Mississippi River, this place is unpretentious and just what it says: A bridge between being hungry thirsty to satiated. What? You don't like the decor? Well, this is rural Minnesota (just off Highway 6) and there's not too many haute cuisine restaurants nearby. We came for lunch and the friendly staff allowed us to park our bicycles on their patio area (maybe they like bikers of all varieties). The panfried walleye sandwich was wonderful, as well as my Rueben melt. Good taps offered, we experienced great service for our lunch visit. We thought the tab was more than reasonable for the amount of food that was served.

The food was great, hot, fresh and tasty. The meat was tender and the service was friendly.
