Chicken King - Dapto

The arrival of the Portuguese Chili burger in Dapto was a game-changer many years ago. Before that, the options were limited to schnitzel burgers from charcoal chicken shops or traditional hamburgers from the fish and chip shop. While it may not be groundbreaking in 2022, it still remains a tasty choice with delicious chips and chicken.

The Portuguese burger family set at this restaurant is a great value for money. The burger comes with two chicken patties and has a delicious taste. The staff is amazing and they ensure that customers are socially distanced.

A young fellow by the name of Brock that works here makes THE best hamburgers , he even takes pride in what he does , mate I’ve bought quite a few burgers from you , and I started wondering ‘when’ you would make a not so good burger !!!!! So I kept buying and waiting but no , you just don’t know how to make a bad one !!!!! HAHA , keep up the good work mate , your an artist re what you do.

This new restaurant has become a favorite for a quick lunch during the pandemic. I really enjoy the Chili Portuguese burger and the value of the combo with chips and a drink. You can also call ahead with your order, which is perfect for when you're in a hurry.

Phone order was ready when arrive (approx 10min) despite it being the busy lunch rush. Ordered 3 fish n chips and the fish was yum. However, 1 serve of chips with the fish was enough to feed our family of 4! Felt like such a waste throwing all the leftovers. So be aware serves are LARGE! Picture is my leftovers!!!
