Bidra med feedbackGreat place... welcome home type of bar. Band sounded great. Bartender was fast. Food was delicious
Nice bar. We had a variety of foods at a table on the terrace. My burger was perfectly cooked and the annoyed wort was exactly the right amount, not overwhelming, very tasty. It was a lot of burgers that could have used a riffer bunker. Wings were delicious, beers were decently expensive, pommes were fried out of a bag (I did not notice that my options were freshly cut pommes OR steakries. Next time I try the fresh cut) and the place is generally clean. It is the kind of bar where the lock is broken at the bathroom door. And the toilet paper holder is broken. Still delicious food!
I love this little bar on White Street. The staff is always friendly and smiling, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. The upgrades to the place in recent years show how they are committed to the happiness of their males. It is definitely worth checking out, and I recommend stopping more than for a drink, or a few.
The old working class quarters of Cohoes have not yet seen any gentrification, so that this brilliant spot stands out as a holder and a frequent flyer. John, the owner and chef, couldn't be more real and gentile. Frank, the bartender couldn't be warm and polite anymore. The place has a Bucket-of-Blood feeling it without a dangerous aspect. Only locals enjoy their time looking for respect from the newcomers. I would be proud to deserve the right to be a local! Enjoy and be respectful and enjoy the great food and drink!
The Black Cat Ale House is the kind of spot where you can easily assess the freshness of the food and visually inspect it for any unwanted substances before indulging. It's best to stay informed...
