Bidra med feedbackAwful. Manager/owner extremely rude and unprofessional toward his staff. We didn't even wait around long enough to order and neither did the group who came in after us.
This morning, we had breakfast at Street Caffe before heading back to Joburg. The food was very disappointing - the eggs were not cooked to our liking, the bacon was tough and chewy, and everything was cold except for the chips. As a vegetarian, there were not many options available, so I ordered 2 fried eggs with fried tomato, chips, and toast. Unfortunately, the fried tomato was just one tiny slice, which we were charged R10.00 for. When we raised our concerns, the waitress simply apologized and shrugged her shoulders, showing she didn't care. We will not be returning to this restaurant. If they cannot make a decent breakfast, they should not be in business.
Lovely experience! Beautiful venue and very tasty food. The new owners are very welcoming and warm toward children.
Everything was going smoothly until I requested Robin's. Instead, I was served black tea (I believe it was Joko). When I pointed out that I had been served black tea, they claimed it was Rooibos from P&P. I asked to speak to the manager, but she never came. No explanation was provided. It is evident that they do not value their customers.
Beautiful view however sadly let down by food and service. You can always judge a place by their starters. We had pancakes dry) and spring roll dough was sparse en over cooked hard at some places) starters. Very disappointing as we love both items and eat them often. Live music was good and created a nice atmosphere. I really hoped for more from this place. :
