Yakitori Tora - City of New York

This is the most authentic Yakitori restaurant I've been to in NYC. I highly recommend checking it out!

The best yakitori restaurant in New York! Considering the smoke-free environment (unlike in Japan), it's the best I've experienced anywhere in the world. I was in town for a week of indulging in yakitori and ramen. Having lived in Japan, it's essential for me to recharge my "Nippon batteries" by enjoying my favorite foods. I used to live right next to a yakitori place and have tried it in nearly every Japanese prefecture. THIS PLACE IS EXCELLENT!!! The staff formed a well-coordinated, professional team comprised solely of Japanese members. The atmosphere is cozy and not overly crowded. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented. I appreciate that they accept reservations (I was dining solo), but I was relieved that one wasn't actually necessary at 7 PM. Thank you very much!
