Rasa - City of New York

The owner is so friendly and the food was delicious! I went with 8 other people, originally I had a smaller reservation but they let me add a couple of extra people at the last minute and were very considerate. Friendly staff and amazing drinks! I definitely recommend the Lychee Daiquiri. All around great night!

Great neighborhood nice restaurant. I had the calamari app. the sambal shrimp, both were very good.

Food at Rasa was great. The place was fun and energetic. However, if you have a tight schedule, the restaurant might not be the place for you. Even though we had a reservation, we were kept waiting for over 45 minutes. While we were happy that Rasa had a full house, the hostess was unapologetic about the delay. (And the funny thing was Opentable still had available reservations for slots while the restaurant was packed. Not sure about the business practice!

We waited 30 mins for our table even though we had reservations and the food wasn't as good as I've had in the past. better to go when its not busy.
