Woodland Bakery - Chatham

I wrote this bakery off a few years ago when I went in looking for bread or rolls and all they had were sweets. But recently, at a large family gathering we bought two cakes and ended up arguing over which of the two was the best cake ever. Today we had a smaller gathering and all of us wanted to take home some black forest cake. So, 3 cakes in a row were absolute winners. I recommend this bakery unconditionally.

This is likely the best cake I have ever tasted! I got a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and chocolate frosting from this place and it was truly incredible. The balance of flavors was perfect, not too sweet despite all that chocolate. The cake was light and moist. I highly recommend trying the hand pies as well - my top picks are blueberry and cherry, while my wife loves the lemon flavor.

Ever since we moved to Chatham last summer, we have been getting all of our cakes from Woodland Bakery. Their cakes and baked goods are absolutely delicious and I highly recommend this bakery to anyone in the area!

Ive been coming to this bakery since they opened in August bought all my holiday goodies from here I love it. You have to have a different taste to enjoy there goodies. The baked goods are fascinating and the girls in the front are a delight. I especially love there cannoli cake and cinnamon rolls. Listen to my review and no one else’s

We discovered Woodland Bakery online and decided to order a Coconut Lemon cake from them for a birthday party we were hosting. Since I couldn't make it to the bakery in person, I placed the order over the phone. Each staff member I spoke to at Woodland Bakery was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional. They described the cake to me in great detail, which made me feel comfortable ordering from a bakery I hadn't visited before. When we picked up the cake, we were amazed by how beautiful it was. The cake was perfect in every way! When we and our guests tried the cake, it was absolutely delicious. It was so good that there was hardly any left over. A big thank you to Woodland Bakery for baking such a tasty cake! It was one of the freshest cakes I've ever had, and it wasn't overly sweet. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
