Backyard Bistro At Charlotte Crossings

My company used Backyard Bistro to cater our Holiday Party at the Old Lantern. Not only was the food and service excellent but the owners are exceptional with working with something to fit your budget. We will definitely be calling them again for our next event!

Lovely little place in Charlotte. We're visitors to the area and were happy to find a place open on a Tuesday night. We did not have a reservation and they accommodated us, and the server was very friendly. We ordered the nachos, chicken sandwich, and pulled pork mac and cheese with a few beers. Great flavors and generous portions. Would recommend, we enjoyed it.

We ordered takeout were super impressed with the food. The smashburger was slightly smoky, the fresh fluffy bun was grilled, the fries were SUPER good. OThe fried chicken sammich was similarly excellent same bun, big juicy fried thigh. We chose a salad w/this one, it came with crisp greens, sliced almonds, chevre a light vinaigrette. Both these sammiches made us want to return eat in!

Was not impressed with this restaurant. The lobster roll was good, but not spectacular. The Bolognese had no flavor, seemed like the only sauce was the grease from the meat. The dishes were very small and we both easily cleaned our plates and were still hungry. I think everyone is just excited to finally have a restaurant in Charlotte, but not worth the cost. We won’t be back.

Great food, delicious cocktails, and a cozy vibe. Charlotte is lucky to have BB!
