Pascolo Ristorante - Burlington

The Italian cuisine at this restaurant is excellent, especially the handmade pasta which is outstanding. The atmosphere is casual yet distinctive.

This restaurant review is for both special occasions - a birthday and New Year's Day.

We have visited this restaurant before, and even though the service was not great, the food was so good that we had to come back. This time, the service was excellent and the food remained fantastic. The wine list is impressive, with a nice mix of Italian wines in the mid-price range and a few lower-priced options. There is also a small reserve list with some older wines for those looking for something special. We tried the Super Tuscan and it was well worth the extra cost. The menu has three levels with a nice selection of dishes in each category. They are also willing to accommodate special requests, such as changing the pasta sauce. The service team works well together, enhancing the overall dining experience. This restaurant has become one of our favorites, even though we only visit Burlington a few times a year. I went to Pascolo for dinner on New Year's Eve and had an incredible meal. We started with some delicious Pan Seared Scallops that were hot and full of flavor. We also ordered dirty martinis, which were made exactly to our liking. My boyfriend had the Pappardelle with fennel sausage, which was amazing. The fresh pasta really elevated the dish. I chose the Rigatoni with Beef and Lamb Ragu, which was packed with great flavor. The service was fantastic, with waiters helping us choose the perfect wine to accompany our main courses. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Pascolo.

I traveled all the way from Montreal, Canada and I have never been disappointed! I have been going there for 5 years on New Year's Eve and it is always excellent! The food, service, and ambiance are amazing! Can't wait to see you again next year!
