Enzo Italiano - Carmel

This is the most authentic Italian restaurant in Carmel. I've eaten three times here and I never let myself be disappointed. Their authentic dishes and wine choices are amazing. The owner is from Italy, so much helps! I also love the cozy dining area with the fireplace. The service was great!

I'm regular Carmel from the Bay Area. This is a bad experience! The restaurant was almost dead then! Lunch 1:00. We had reservations and asked for an outside table. When we checked in, there were tables outside, the host gave us a sunny table, there were 2 tables in the shade. We asked, but the table refused because he has 2 or 4 seats! We ordered food, it became hot unbearable, then the host sat 2 people to those we asked! That was Sucks! Overall, we are no longer coming to Enzo! You need to train again to run a Great Restaurant. Don't get back!

Highly recommend this place. Very authentic Italian. The pesto is to die for. I'm not a fan of tiramisu but it was so delicious!!

The service was welcoming and lovely. Starter salad was great. The gnocchi and bolognese pasta were entirely unremarkable. For the price of the meal, I was hoping for better quality.

Pretty good Italian food and nice ambiance. Looked like they had a very nice outdoor patio but it was too cold. Service was good but our waiter had a funny personality, especially with the wine, and seemed to push us towards more pricey options then no longer cared once it was clear we only wanted a glass each.
