Argyle Steakhouse - Carlsbad

Had lunch here prior to golf. Nice decor, bright, overlooking the golf course. Service was very attaintive and friendly. Both sandwiches tasted pretty good, reasonable prices!

The outside area of the restaurant is beautiful and the service is excellent, but the lunch menu is very limited and the cook has 0 flexibility, even a side of creamy spinach (which is part of their menu) to make a customer happy. The portions are very small for the price. I ordered the steak frites and the steak was less than an ounce for $34. I was very ready to spend money for a nice lunch, but the cook was not ready to prepare everything from their dinner menu. Considering that only the outdoor area is available and that it gets cold after 4:00, they should offer their complete menu at noon.

My family loved the food and ambience! The first time I took her and we really enjoyed our time, we celebrated my daughter's birthday.

We have found Argyle Steakhouse to always be a pleasurable dining experience. The service is impeccable, the selection is perfect steakhouse fare, and the preparations close to flawless. We highly recommend Argyle Steakhouse for anyone looking for a refined dining experience with excellent cuisine.
