The bbq was good. The sides need work. The baked beans tasted like pork and beans. The potato salad was better but lacked flavor.

I’ve eaten barbecue all over Alabama and I consider myself somewhat of a food critic. We stumbled upon this little gem today and I must say that the food was delicious. The pork was very tender and not over smoked as seems to be the problem with many barbecue places here in the state. The sauce was not spicy in anyway and had just the right amount of seasoning and spices to give it a different taste altogether. The ribs are fall off the bone tender and those penguins my goodness talk about a mouth full of delicious tender pork!Now let me tell you about that macaroni and cheese it’s so good you want to go and slap your grandma if she tries to tell you she can make it LOL. It’s creamy, gooey, piping hot and delicious! The banana pudding is out of this world. What made me really want to come here and leave a review it’s not just that the quality of the food is five-star but the service is above board the same! Very friendly folks that accommodate you and make you feel like family! Give this place a try and you won’t be sorry, the portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable! This is definitely one of my top faves now.
