D’sotos Fresh Mexican Food

Prices are reasonable and the portions are big. Food is delicious everything you'd expect from a taqueria.

So, I've been to every Mexican food restaurant in the county and I can honestly say this is the second to the worst place I've ever been to. The food is subpar and when I say that it is said with disgust. When the food hit my tongue I made a face, but unfortunately I decided to eat it anyway cuz it was starving. I don't know if I got a bad batch or what but later on that night I found out why: Bacteria in the most foul order. I was sick for almost 24 hours and I must tell you all that if you value your health please don't ever eat here. I would rather eat at Taco Bell or even worse...Oscars. Lol

The best Mexican restaurant I've been to. Love the chunky hot salsa as the green one. Best tamales I've ever had . They have a bar in there, and the places is just amazing, I highly recommend it. Good service by the waitress btw :

I have been to this location in San Marcos more than a dozen times. To our family, it is a little hidden gem. Corner of Linda Vista and Pacific across the street from Bradley Park. This location has been through numerous owners since La Fe family opened it many years ago. Some have been okay, some yucky! But the current proprietors are putting out really good food. Last night, I arrived just before 5pm (Friday Night), and there was only 1 person working at the time. Just a few other customers. The cook came out, took my To Go order and put together the best Hard Shell beef tacos I have ever had!! Over the last couple months, I have tried the Enchiladas, Tacos, Tortas, Tostadas, Burritos all really good. They do offer indoor dining, and have 2 small dining rooms as well as patio seating. No beer on tap yet, but bottled beer available.

Very dissatisfied. The sauces tasted like it came out of a can. The oil for the tacos tasted stale for a lack of better words old. The beef was over cooked and really dry.
