Bidra med feedbackA very well frequented local coffee shop. The decor is nice, the option to sit outside wonderful, and the staff seems genuinely friendly and happy. Moreover they seem politically active which is exceptionally cool. The downside is it is really expensive. I don’t mind paying top price but it’s for a good cause or exceptional but to be honest the coffee was not that great and the pastries were average at best. What I did not know, and I found kind of creepy, was that the staff added their own tip onto my bill without asking or telling me. I find this hilarious but also abusive. I absolutely would’ve given a 20% tip because the staff seem very happy and it seemed like a great place. I didn’t feel icky that they added it without telling me. Something you may want to consider. Two specialty coffees and pastries was over $20. I think you can do better if you’re looking for coffee in Castlegar.
Fantastic matcha latte! In town for a few weeks and I'm so excited to find a coffee shop I like, and my favorite drink. Easy to drive through I'll be back for sure.
I say thank you Britney. It's not only for serving me a great coffee the pistachio white chocolate special that is so yummy. But taking time out and teach me a little bit about coffee I really appreciate that you are one heck of a great person/employee go above and beyond and thank you so much.
If you want a yummy tasty beverage look no further then The Humble Bean! The owner made my Carmel Macchiato and it's as good as Starbucks. She went out of her way to make me happy. She's friendly, bubbly and it's a cute place. I don't know about you but I want a friendly bubbly person waiting on me, and a yummy drink to get my day off to a great start!
Absolutely LOVE The Humble Bean! Always greeted by smiling faces and awesome service!
