Bidra med feedbackWe stayed at a hotel in Brunswick after visiting Jekyll Island and looking for a place to eat. We love Vietnamese food, so we took a chance at this place. Let me tell you about the experience. At first I have eaten Vietnamese food in the USA, from San Francisco, Dallas, Tampa, Washington DC, NYC and Boston, and I can honestly say the little place in Brunswick beats them all. I'm not exaggerating. This food is made with care and pride. You must be patient. There's a guy running the place and cooking, so don't expect you to get your food in 5 minutes. I think we waited for about 10 minutes before he broke out the shrimp rolls and then at least 10 minutes later when he brought us our bun. But it was worth waiting. Flavors were very balanced and portions were large without being grotesque. All ingredients were fresh and delicious. Make yourself a favor and go to this place. I'm sure everything he does is great.
After spending some time in several different regions of Vietnam and loving the food from this country, I can simply say that if you are somewhere close and want an authentic Vietnamese experience, this is IT! The food is delicious. Simply one of the best bowls of the Pho I had Stateside, totally competing with what you can get in Vietnam. The fresh spring rolls were amazing shrimps, pork and several different vegetables rolled into rice paper, which was not over moistened, with peanut sauce to immerse them. Everything was so good that you almost have a euphoric feeling. I am truly remarkable that the owner took the time to talk to us, ask about our lives, share some of his with us and talk to us about his home country. He was a nice man and kind. Some people may have a little difficulty understanding him, or maybe his excitement and energy would be negatively sharpened, but he was real and sympathetic. It was a very nostalgic experience for us and made me miss Vietnam. If we are ever through this path again and he is open, we will not hesitate to stop again for a wonderful experience!!!
Sooooo tasty loves the taste of food. Image: N1 pho and S1 banh mi. The bread was so good I can't even explain. You have to try it yourself. Very reasonable prices. $4.99 for the sandwich is an extraordinary value. Excellent service.
The first time Pho tried and it was a great first experience. Friendly guy who runs the whole place. Egg rolls were crisp and amazing. I had the rare steakpho and it was wonderful. Everything was hot and the green onions there tasted fresh and bold. Page. The place was a bit dirty, but I don't knock out a star because he took your order and took cooking and your money.
Great food and service! I really enjoyed it here and one of the cooks (possibly owner of resturant) was really nice to me and really made sure I was satisfied... its too bad I am only in Georgia for two weeks because I would come here more often!
