Peach's - Bradenton

Peaches has the WORST service I have ever encountered. The waitresses are not only negligent (don’t expect a refill on your coffee), they are down right unpleasant. Mention your dissatisfaction to the supervisor at the register and expect a nasty look, as if you are doing something wrong. I really liked their food the first couple of times I went, so I thought they were worth giving a second (and fourth) chance. But, great pancakes are not worth being treated like an annoying intruder in a place where you are the customer. And, most every other dish I have tried as been mediocre to downright nasty and poorly prepared. I think the low quality service actually could warrant boycotting. Maybe they would get the message that popularity is not enough to make your establishment a good business and does not have to last. Award Nomination: Worst Service

I went to the 26th West, Peaches location for the first and last time today. I got there at 11:20 and the dinning room was almost empty, I signed in to be seated and it took 10 minutes just for someone to even check to see if people had signed in, and that was after 2 people already walked out. I finally seated and given no silverware, then I ordered a tuna melt sandwich, There was only tuna on half the sandwich. My waitress never came back, no drink refill and no check. I finally went to the counter to pay and when she asked how it was I told her. Instead of apologizing or offer me a discount she acted like I was lying and stated that their portion sizes had not changed. That had nothing to do with it, they did a bad job making my sandwich. So I paid almost $9 for less the half of a Tuna Sandwich and very poor service,,,,,

Peach’s Restaurant on Manatee Ave West is the original of the now 10 Peach’s Restaurants. They have been in business serving locals and visitors to our area for over 20 years. Their specialty is breakfast but the lunch items are fantastic too. For breakfast, you have a choice of 3 egg omelettes, eggs Benedict, made to order waffles, pancakes and french toast. They also offer a choice of 4 breakfast combos with eggs, bacon/sausage, hash browns, grits, fresh fruit toast and coffee in a variety of combinations. One of their specialties include a breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, cheese, tomatoes, onions and peppers all wrapped up in your choice of soft tortilla. Another specialty is the Breakfast Sundae, with strawberry yogurt topped with homemade granola and served with a muffin. Their prices are very reasonable and the staff are always friendly and glad to serve you.
