Cassariano - Bradenton

Cassariano is my Fiancé and I discovered for the first time tonight. We went to another favorite place of ours, but decided to go and taste this restaurant. When we entered, we commented on how busy it was for a Monday evening. We were greeted by a young man who let us sit right away. The atmosphere was Cozy still upscale and the clientele reflected that. Our waiter was strange; when we started asking several questions about the menu, he was of course polite, but seemed like he was distracted or in a hurry. When we asked more detailed questions about the specials, he repeated the words he used when he first reminded them of us. He didn't have much of a personality. This was unlike the Vibrant personality we saw in other waiting staff. Then he said when we ordered, he was kind enough to bring warm rolls with an artichoke and some butter. These rolls were absolutely delicious!!! I'd just go back for them! Our Entrées were good. The desert was just okay. It wasn't bad. Just different. We come back to try some of the other items on the menu. That was hard to evaluate! For me this place has a Glowing 3 stars; or a dim 4!

Highly recommend Cassariano. 4 of us all had different appetizers and entrees all of them were very good. Simple not fussy, fresh, full of flavor. Cocktails good, wine list good, service good, great manager consistently checking on every table. Wonderful addition to Lakewood ranch. We did not try any desserts on this visit

UPDATE: I had the lamb which is outstanding. Always consistent! If you love lamb you gotta give this a try. You won’t be disappointed. (See end pic) We sat at the bar and Bri took care of us. We met Marcelo the General Mgr of the restaurant and he recommended the delicious wine. What an amazing evening out which was in the UTC mall complex, close to home. Gonna be a regular spot for sure.

Love this place! Such a great new location and so quaint with the little courtyard in the back! We love coming here, one for the incredible service and two for the amazing food and atmosphere. This is great for a date night, I am so happy they have two locations near me, Venice and Lakewood Ranch where I can enjoy them! Support the locals and don't be mean to the staff. These people are amazing and would bend over backwards for you. Thank you Cassariano team!

Cassariano was such a delight! If you’re looking for great Italian Pasta, I would highly recommend stopping here. The service was absolutely amazing. Our server was Nick, and he did a really good job. He was very nice, and he provided excellent service. I will definitely be stopping in again soon!
