Cook Out - Boone

Drive through only. Employee at window was stressed out and short tempered. Very chaotic. Cook outs and their parking area are usually very well designed. This one is in am awful location small lot on a hill. No parking area.

I got a chicken tray with a side of onion rings and they gave me 3 onion rings that looked like they were scrap from the last batch. Also got a snickers milkshake that was inedible, tasted like pure soured milk and had about 4 small chunks of snickers in it. I’ve been to many a cookout in my life and this location is a sorry representation of the chain.

I ordered a strawberry milkshake, took it home, started drinking it, and it was spoiled. I gave them the benefit of doubt went back out and told them about it. They said “our ice cream mix is always fresh” and “could be the strawberries” and I assured them it was the milkshake itself. They gave me another free one which was nice of them. But it was also spoiled. I don’t mean it smelled kinda weird or something. I mean tasted like sour milk and smelled horrible. I’m sure more reviews like mine will come up soon.

The best milkshakes ever any kind of flavor you can think of they have the food's okay it's a little pricey but not horrible and usually it's not a long way in the Drive-Thru I've never walked up and use the walk out window before so I'm not sure what kind of experience that would be but other than that love the milkshakes! *Update*-9/2/23- Went for milkshakes I'm saddened that the quality of service has downgraded, for the last four times I've come and got milkshakes the milkshakes are yucky and got stuff all over them the milkshake substance they don't give you napkins and my last milkshake was supposed to be chocolate and they didn't even all the way pictures with review

Still as good as the day they moved into this location! The food consistency is always on. The food prices are a little higher but that is the way the world is right. I haven't been to this location in years I've been back here since 2015. It's nice to know I can still grab a good meal on the go.
