Bidra med feedbackHad a very pleasant experience. The house fried rice was excellent, but we were not overly impressed by the yellow curry. (Sauce was a little thin and did not coat the meat and vegetables so that they had little taste. Sauce itself was delicious. Thai tea and bubble tea were both amazing. And our waitress was super nice and cared for us. The restaurant itself is decorated in a really funny way with lots of stuff on the walls, etc. It's very charming. And I loved the background music... maybe a little too much. (Can I get a track list? It was fire. Oil The place has a great atmosphere. I'd go back the next time we're in town.
Stopped here on a day trip to Boone. Service was great and very attentive. Fresh spring roll appetizer was a good portion for the price. The pad Thai entree was delicious. It was a great portion size. Large enough to be full and have some to take home. They also have a gluten-free menu upon request, which was helpful for us I'dfinitely recommend.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Boone (there are so many good ones) and my favorite Thai place. I went to school at Appalachian and quickly became a regular customer here. I have never had a bad meal here, and I have tried about half of the dishes on the menu. The servers are extremely respectful and on top of things, and I often get my food quickly. Like most Thai places, the decor consists mostly of gorgeous woodwork, and there are handcrafted thai garments, bags, etc. Lastly, the owner is a sweetheart and always makes me feel welcome there. If you're looking for a reasonably priced restaurant without a wait and with amazing, healthy food, head here.
One of my favorite restaurants on Watauga county...the lunch specials are such a wonderful value and so delicious. They 've ruined sesame chicken for my wife as theirs is so good every time she eats sesame chicken anywhere else her response is always It just isn 't as good as Cha Da 's . I used to eat lunch there a couple times a week as it was just a short walk from the App State campus. They 've also got a huge wine selection, probably the biggest I 've seen in a Boone restaurant, however, I must take one star as the service seems to have fallen off quite a bit. The service was great when I ate there regularly in college. My wife and I will stop here every time we visit Boone, but the past few times it just wasn 't as good as it was five years or so ago.
This delightful local Thai restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance from ASU. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed, situated just off the main street in downtown. The food is incredibly tasty, with a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options available. The menu features helpful spice level descriptions, and the prices are quite reasonable for the generous portion sizes. Extra spices can be requested on the side!
