Road the ferry over to Crystal Beach and checked out Jose's. Our waitress was awesome! Chips and Guacamole sauce was perfect. Ordered a few appetizers gator bites and shrimp kisses were good. We were a party of 8 and everyone something different. Would highly recommend the crab cakes, shrimp cocktail, gumbo, and taco salad. We would go back when in town. Service: Dine in

With the decent ratings we decided to give this place a try. After looking at the menu it looks like a spin off Tia Juanita's with the Cajun Mexican. I have the crab cakes and gumbo, the crab cakes were maybe an 1/8 of an inch thick soaked in grease and taste like a bait shop smells. My wife had the beef fajitas and it was super chewy and not the right cut of beef for fajitas. This place was crazy overpriced! So I recommend going to Tia's if you are wanting something good.
