We happened upon this charming, little restaurant as we were driving around Blue Ridge Mountain for the day. This hidden gem was DELICIOUS !!! The food was an unexpected surprise everything was fresh, well seasoned, and decently priced. They have a fairly good amount of fresh seafood options, too. The side dish options are a little limited, but who cares the sheer amount of seafood they served with each dish was PLENTY!!! The atmosphere was super casual (it definitely gives off a down home country vibe). When we're in the area again, we'll definitely go back !
Don’t recommend the seafood combination only 2 shrimp , etc mostly just fried kinda bland
Excellent food and fast service. Best fish quality for blackened flounder I have had anywhere more than 20 miles from coast. Was not told about credit charge surcharge beforehand. Atmosphere below average for their price point. Looks and tastes like a good family style coastal restaurant which I like at the correct price point. At this price I really expect waiters looking like butlers in black trousers and button down shirts but everyone was casual here. For anywhere that I would consistently return often at this price I also expect live ambience music. I also expect a bit more unusual/ elaborate sides at this price point. At this price just having excellent food and fast service is not quite enough for me to return very often because there are too many good budget friendly alternatives.
So happy to find them! We are from Florida have been missing fried seafood. Everything was excellent, not overcooked. Had the combo enjoyed every item. The crab cake was outstanding, full of crab rather than breading. We will definitely be back.
