Bidra med feedbackAutumn has definitely arrived in Birmingham, and while I enjoy a cozy pumpkin spice latte as much as the next person, one thing I can't seem to get used to is the lack of daylight. Getting out of bed in the morning has become nearly impossible, requiring more motivation than I have and a fake sunrise simulation. The darkness, cold weather, and overall dreariness have left me feeling irritated and drained, especially since I've used up all my vacation time at work.
I used to work in an office in Five Ways. Back then, it was a dreary place to be surrounded by the unsightly Broad Street on one side and the upscale housing of Edgbaston on the other. Even lunchtime lacked excitement, with the possibility of encountering a tired prostitute, a man selling jacket potatoes out of a van, or a bland sandwich menu. But things have changed in Birmingham over the years, especially in the Edgbaston area. Many office buildings still stand, but now it has become a culinary hotspot, with Rofuto leading the way.
