Las Mananitas

Authentic Mexicana in San Jose. Their totopos and margarita's were outstanding. And the Chicken in Mole was heavenly. Not sweet like some places mistakenly do, but rich roasted chilis with just a hint of picante. The complementary picante salsas were also authentic and delicious. I am from Texas and it was a real delight to get great Mexican food in Tico land. Next time I will sample the tacos as they seem to have a variety from all over the Mexican States. The postre flan caramelo with local coffee was the perfect finish to a perfect Cena.

Excellent!! What a lovely find thanks for all the previous reviews. I ordered the mixed plater and couldn’t be happier. Everything is delicious mole, steak, guacamole, tortillas yum!! Had a passion fruit margarita that was delicious and then a tequila sunrise that topped off the experience! And they have WiFi so posting in real time!

Great authentic Mexican food . Reminds me of “when I was in Mexico “ . And very importantly freshly made guacamole ! Yay

Incredible Mexican food. Good sized portions. Reminded us of home. The strawberry lemonade was delicious. We got the mixed tacos and they were good. The Al pastor was really delicious. We got the enmolada enchiladas which my husband liked. I got the six enchiladas with green sauce. All very flavorful.
