Hersh's - Baltimore

The homemade pasta dish was delicious! However, the noise level was unbearable. I couldn't hear my friend at all during the whole meal (Friday, 5:30PM).

The food was excellent as usual, however we had to wait 15 minutes for our table and another 15 minutes to be served. This is unusual for this restaurant and did not make a good impression.

I really enjoy the atmosphere and location of this restaurant. The pizza is excellent, but the meatballs are truly amazing! Our waitress seemed a bit distracted, so our food and check took longer than usual, but we still had a wonderful time chatting at our cozy corner table. If I had one suggestion, it would be to maybe add some new items to the menu. However, if it's not broken, why fix it? I highly recommend this place!

Hersh's is a small, neighborhood restaurant with a cozy feel and very good, fresh food. The menu is on the small side, and items are lovingly prepared and presented.

My friends and I shared everything and we thought the Caesar salad was delicious and plentiful but could have been colder. The Carbonara was dry…could have been creamier. Very small portion for the price. The pizza was delicious. The mussels were tiny and the sauce relatively flavorless. The fries on the mussels were just ok but when we ordered bread to soak up the sauce you could taste the potential of the sauce. It seems as the restaurant was understaffed and our waitress was carrying too many tables…she was stretched a bit thin and was forgetful. Took a long time to get drinks but the food came out relatively quickly.
