Bidra med feedbackSuch a shame that she was open last night. Had definitely gone again.
Unfortunately, this Hampden neighborhood gemstone will be at the end of the business tomorrow evening, 30. June 2018 for good closing. Grano Emporio is truly, authentic Italian with a Tuscan / Roman influence. Gino Troias other smaller Italian pasta bar in Hampden called Grano Pasta Bar will remain open. He also has a Grano Pasta Bar in Federal Hill, from which I have not experienced yet. I want to do this in the future. The dishes at Grano Emporio are carefully prepared and served attentively. The menu is very appealing and well thought out so it is difficult to zero on a selection or another. The device is clean and well run. It is obvious that the employees are dedicated and attentive to their tasks and the diners. You get the feeling that they really like each other, work together well and consider themselves part of the Troia family. Grano Emporio is missing. Thank you. Gino, Chris, Melody and other staff who feel me at home for dinner in the Italian cuisine of a good friend. I wish you weren't going!
I've dimmed in Grano since the opening. I regret reading it is to close. I came to visit last time. Food and service were not disappointed. I had one of my favorites: pasta with white mussel sauce. Gino stayed at the table several times to welcome us. That was something special. The only drawback when eating on Grano is the difficulty to find parking in Hamden.
We went to Grano because it was closed at the end of the month. We were disappointed that the menu was significantly reduced. They still had good wines. I will miss this restaurant because they had excellent Italian cuisine and we knew the owner and one of the former chefs.
The food was excellent and the service good the four of us enjoyed our visit but we had to wait quite a while to get on the porch which was important to us. Although the wine selection was rather small, we were fine with our choices and had a really delightful evening.
