Bidra med feedbackWent to this place after all the reviews on Google. The lights outside were good, but once you go inside you'll be greeted by a swarm of mosquitoes and flies as you wait for your order (which sometimes takes forever). The customer service can definitely be improved. Food: I ordered the prawn curry. The taste was okay, but for some reason the curry had a unpleasant odour to it which made it totally unappetizing. Overall it was an okay experience inside auroville.
Ambience isn't the best, but good, cheap food that they make from scratch in front of you. Overall, an underrated place that is worth a shot if you're on a budget.
It's a great place if you're just stopping by for a quick beverage. What you see is what you get including the flies during the day. Food is average. The best thing about the place is how laid back it is.
A small eatery in the middle of wilderness.. I could never imagine I would be in for a surprising treat.. We went to this place as it was late in the night (by Auroville standards) and we'll not find any other place open.. We ordered a fried fish, veg biriyani, parotta with curry and chicken curry.. The food was spicy and yum.. The place is run by the family of the local villager.. The location is lovely and prices are low.. The seating is basic and some space is under the trees in the open.. Must give it a try if you are around these parts..
Good food for people in a tight budget. dosas are good. it has both a smoker and a non-smoking zone that is remarkable. but the place can be a bit more sanitary. fly and insect kill the fun while they eat. but unlike that, a good place for a break in the middle of the work.
