The Cliffhouse Buttermilk - ASPEN

A fun atmosphere provided by the host resort for the Winter XGames. The tunes are bumping at each ski lift. The runs are mellow enough for beginner and intermediate skiers/snowboarders. You can find a challenge in their terrain parks.

The best slopes to cruise! Staff was exceptional and we were lucky to have a bluebird day that was uncrowded during the week. Never waited long to get the lift.

Probably the most 'intermediate ' of all the Aspen ski areas. Really enjoyed some high speed runs down the groomers with rolling jumps! The boys loved the terrain parks. Skied a couple days before the X-Games started so the half pipe and monster jumps were under construction and closed.

Buttermilk was our favorite mountain of the Aspen Snowmass options. Because there is limited onsite lodging, crowds are smaller here. There are less Black Diamond runs, but tons of great Greens Blues for intermediate skiers. Grab some BBQ at the base for lunch. Loved it!

So much pow. Lifts are fast. Everyone so welcoming. Everything so fun. Fun trails and powder stashes. Amazing tree trails.
