White House Tavern - ASPEN

9:30pm Friday Server: Jugo We stopped in after the comedy festival for a bite to eat and were seated right away BUT it took 15 minutes for the server to arrive. When she did we ordered drinks and our meal in case we didn't see her again. Its a good thing we did because we never saw her again. She didn't ask how I wanted my burger and it came out rare, yuck. I tried to catch someone to send it back but I couldn't get anyone to stop. After an hour I asked a runner for a box and the check. One of the cooks brought the check and we left. I really felt like we would have been there all night if the cook hadn't taken pity on us. If Jugo is your server ask for someone else right away.

They were great and even honored the reservation when they aren't on OPEN TABLE!! Why did you list them and accept the reservation for them when they are a NO RESERVATION place??

Everything about the White House is first class. So many local people and I mean people living in Colorado told us about this place!!! That's a great sign... Everyone suggested the Chicken and Fish Sandwich are their most by far the best I've eaten. The burgers are amazing too! Can't imagine what their dinners are like! Great bar and great atmosphere... we will come back and highly suggest this place to anyone who wants an amazing experience.

Came in embarrassingly dirty after hiking; was treated excellently. Staff enthusiasm and cozy space made it feel welcoming. Food a Cuban sandwich towering, imposing, juicy. Beer selection a bit thin, but wine seems to fit the place better.
