Bidra med feedbackI went to this restaurant for lunch on a Tuesday. I arrived at 11:40am but there was no one at the front desk to greet me. The wait staff (I believe there were only two employees working for the entire restaurant) came up to the desk to grab things, but they never even acknowledged our presence. After standing at the front for 10 minutes, with more and more people coming in, we decided to leave. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Appleton, but I am disappointed to say that the service has significantly declined.
In town visiting after many years and have been craving the Crystal Shrimp. Even though the menu has changed over the years, thank goodness they kept the crystal shrimp on the menu! Chill atmosphere, good service, and tasty food.
There appeared to be only one server for the entire restaurant and he kept forgetting things. I ordered the lau chow chicken and it tasted like sweet ketchup. The sweet and sour chicken was also not good, I would not recommend ordering it. However, my wife ordered the make your own bowl with grilled chicken and she said it was really good. I would be willing to give it another try, but I would be more cautious about what I order.
I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food at this restaurant. The sesame chicken we ordered lacked flavor and the sauce was one-dimensional and mushy. It was hard to even taste the chicken. There are much better dining options available for a lower price. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
An evening at GingeRootz was just what the doctor ordered. After a very stressful week, I was able to enjoy a leisurely dinner with my bestie. The staff understood my situation and was so accommodating. Bench was our waiter and I can?t say enough about how awesome he is. He even made sure we had a complimentary dessert because he understood how much I needed this night out. This is not the first time Bench has been our waiter. When I enter the restaurant, he has a big smile
