We appreciated the great service, such an important issue! The food was great, including red cabbage. While practicing our Deutsch Spreche with other customers, we were surprised by an unexpected birthday treat. Wunderbar!

We were in Appleton for a family wedding and tried to find a place that could take a party of 12. When we went down the street, we started chatting with Chris, the owner in front, and he said he could take up our family. We were thrilled. While we waited for the rest of the family to arrive, we chatted with Michelle/Owner in the bar and she helped me find a wine that fits my range, I am very picky. Our server Valerie was extremely attentive and helpful with the service and navigate the German kitchen menu. Thank you Chris, Michelle and Valerie for a wonderful evening. That was my first time here. My friend wanted to try this place for a while. Tuesday night wasn't too busy. I was impressed by the beautiful bar. You don't have a huge tap selection, but enough that there should be something for most pallets. If you're a malty beer fan, so the place is for you! Service was a good pace. I didn't feel rushed at all, but not ignored. The food was fantastic! A member of our party ordered the Sampler plate so that we could all see, try a larger selection. I didn't get the scavenger because he was a pig and I wasn't sure if I liked it. My husband got it and I tried a bit and it was really good! A surprising option were the spelts and cheeses. You can be a main court or a side. That was also delicious! We were not able to participate in Happy Hour Specials, but they looked good. I would definitely go back and maybe check the Happy Hour Specials.

This was our first time in the Brau house and it was very pleasant. Anne recommended the speciality that the carving was. I had the Ruebin soup while the others had the Goulash. Both were delicious. That was the best scavenger I ever had. Cooked for perfection. Chris, the owner stopped by to chat. To round it off, they brought us a plate of beignets, small mini pastries in chocolate sauce and powder sugar. We can't wait to go back.

Incredibly delicous, authentic German food. Food comes from piping hot and perfectly cooked. My grandmother was from Bavaria and I grew up on a lot of sparrows, exchanges and schnitzel. This is the next thing I had with it without leaving the states. My friend and I went out last night to celebrate his birthday, and they made it special! From the free pretzels, delicious meal, to the strudel they brought out with a candle, everything was perfect. The service was also very fast, even if we ordered something and we came during the happy hour rush. I'd blink and another record would come out. Thanks Nikki, Chris and Michelle for a nice dinner!
